Cushion Sintra

€110.00

These beautiful cushions are 100% handwoven by Portuguese craftsmen who perpetuate the tradition and ancestral techniques of wool weaving. Depending on the design, each weaver will take an average of 1 to 2 days to weave 1 meter of fabric. The wool comes exclusively from sheep in the mountains of northern Portugal, it is then spun and woven on a traditional, rudimentary wooden loom. Each cover is sewn by the two so-called "terrible twins", who are simply tireless, even at over 70 years of age! Their pride is to be able to make the world discover this typically Portuguese craft of weaving wool thanks to an incomparable know-how. This piece has been especially designed for Amala. Back side of the cushion is in pure linen. Dry cleaning.

Handmade. Ecofriendly. Limited edition.

Dimension: 60cm*38cm.
